Company Description

Western Slope Iron & Supply, Inc. is a privately owned company that has been in the steel fabrication business in Colorado since 1974. Our emphasis is fabrication of structural and miscellaneous steel for high-end commercial, industrial, residential, and governmental projects. Our area of market is the western United States, including Colorado, Arizona, Nevada, Utah, Wyoming, and New Mexico. In addition, we offer complete special project fabrication for the mining, oil, and gas industry. Western Slope Iron partners with the top detailers and erectors in the industry. We provide complete turn-key steel packages, including detailing, fabrication, joist and deck systems, delivery, and erection.

We have approximately 35,000 square feet of shop space on seven acres, with a lifting capacity of 15 tons. Our rail spur is used for receiving mill direct material for large quantity purchases, saving our customers money. Western Slope Iron carries a large inventory for our Steel Supply Center and use on our contract projects.

Western Slope Iron has a full quality control system and is certified by the American Institute of Steel Construction to have the personnel, organization, experience, capability, and commitment to produce fabricated structural steel as set forth in the AISC Certification Program. We are approved by several county and city building departments in Colorado, as well as other states.

We offer our services through the traditional negotiation and bid processes, as well as the innovative approach of Design-Build. Design-Build gives our customers an opportunity to take full advantage of Western Slope Iron’s 50 years of experience in the steel industry. In doing so, we provide a high-quality product in a shorter time frame, which ultimately saves our customers both time and money.
